Janice Talcott, Past President

Janice is self-employed in, and semi-retired from, the jewelry industry. Most of her career in that industry was focused on education and training, marketing and brand development, and recruiting and hiring. She is a gemologist, appraiser, speaker, author, editor, and publisher.

She is drawn to the Strophy Foundation because like so many of us, she has been touched by friends or family to whom the Therapeutic Courts were lifelines. She gives her time and talent to the Strophy Foundation primarily in Marketing and Fundraising, having chaired the last Gala Auction. Janice is one of 13 children, raised in Eastern Oregon, has two sons and a stepdaughter and two grandchildren. She loves travel, reading, cooking, gardening, and writing.
