Peri Smith, Friend of the Foundation

Peri grew up in small town America in McCleary, Washington. She graduated from Western Washington University in 1974 with a degree in Psychology and worked at the Department of Labor and Industries for 30 years, retiring in 2005. Peri continued work in the public and non-profit world of worker’s compensation until fully retiring in 2019. She was a fifteen-year Board member with Senior Services for South Sound and is passionate about social and economic justice. She is an avid Husky Football fan! Peri was invited to the Strophy Board by a friend and is thrilled to be involved with such a wonderful group of people committed to supporting our community members in recovery.
